IT Support Engineer

Requirements

• 12–18 months of experience in IT support
• Confident with Microsoft technologies
• Experience with Active Directory, including user creation, password resets, and account changes
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, including mailbox creation and licensing basics
• Comfortable supporting non-technical users over the phone
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Immediately available
• Based in or able to work from Gloucestershire

Responsibilities

• Rename existing store email accounts and standardise naming conventions
• Create 300 new user mailboxes
• Support users with login, setup, and access issues
• Call store teams to guide them through the onboarding process
• Complete light admin tasks in Business Central, with training provided
• Support the wider IT team with small tasks if the project is ahead of schedule

We are a well-established UK organisation undergoing a major internal technology uplift. We are rolling out a new email structure across all sites and need someone who can take ownership and keep things moving in a project-focused role. The position is hybrid, with the first week onsite in Gloucester for onboarding, followed by 1–2 days per week onsite and the remainder remote. The start date is ASAP.
