DevOps Manager

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps practices and methodologies
• Proficiency in Java and Maven
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI
• Experience with IBM EWM/RTC integration into workflows
• Skilled in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy)
• Knowledge of packaging and deploying applications into Wildfly and SQL Server environments
• Ability to maintain and improve automation scripts
• Experience with code quality tools like SonarQube
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Interest in Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Infrastructure as Code

Responsibilities

• Oversee the build, release, and deployment processes for Java-based applications
• Build and refine CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain and improve automated workflows integrating IBM EWM/RTC
• Embed code quality checks using SonarQube
• Manage Maven-based builds and release processes
• Package and deploy applications to Wildfly and SQL Server environments
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve bottlenecks in the delivery process
• Document processes and improvements clearly to enhance team knowledge
• Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
• Influence the evolution of the infrastructure as needed
