Pre-Sales Consultant / Solutions Architect

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements

• We require experience in a pre-sales role working closely with sales teams to support opportunity qualification, solution design, and deal progression.
• We are looking for a customer-facing professional with strong technical understanding.
• We need a Fortinet subject matter expert with experience across Fortinet-based solutions, including firewall and SD-WAN.
• We require knowledge of Cisco, Extreme, Kato, Sassi, connectivity, and centralised management.
• We are seeking someone with a Solutions Architect or senior technical background.
• We need experience producing high-quality documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Statements of Work (SoWs), proposals, and technical responses to RFPs and tenders.
• We would prefer someone able to attend one of our offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Wakefield, London, or Glasgow, with some client travel required.

Responsibilities

• We work closely with Sales Specialists, other Pre-Sales teams, Delivery teams, and Vendor partners across the full lifecycle.
• We support opportunity qualification and help progress deals through the sales process.
• We design technical solutions for customers based on their requirements.
• We act as our Fortinet subject matter expert.
• We produce detailed technical documentation, including HLDs, SoWs, proposals, and responses to RFPs and tenders.
• We provide strong technical capability across Fortinet-based and related networking solutions.
• We engage directly with customers in a pre-sales, technical, and consultative capacity.

We are offering a remote role with the flexibility to attend one of our offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Wakefield, London, or Glasgow, with some client travel required. This is a customer-facing pre-sales position within a collaborative team working alongside Sales Specialists, Pre-Sales colleagues, Delivery teams, and vendor partners. The role offers the opportunity to represent us as our Fortinet subject matter expert and contribute across the full solution lifecycle.
