Service Designer

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for an experienced Service Designer.
• We need strong experience working across multiple products, services, or customer journeys.
• We need a proven track record of delivering measurable customer and user impact, with clear examples of improved outcomes, engagement, efficiency, or satisfaction.
• We need excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
• We need deep expertise in creating and maintaining detailed service blueprints and mapping complex service ecosystems.
• We need experience designing holistic end-to-end experiences that consider people, processes, technology, and operational requirements.
• We need a highly collaborative approach, working effectively with Product Managers, UX Designers, Researchers, Delivery teams, and business stakeholders.
• We need a strong understanding and application of Human-Centred Design principles and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• We are designing and improving customer-centric services across a portfolio of telecom products.
• We are creating service blueprints, journey maps, and other service design artefacts.
• We are identifying pain points and opportunities through research and stakeholder engagement.
• We are collaborating across teams to align business objectives with customer needs.
• We are driving service improvements that deliver measurable value for customers and users.
• We are supporting product and transformation initiatives through strategic service design thinking.

We are a leading telecommunications client working on an exciting transformation programme. This is a contract opportunity for a Service Designer to help shape and improve end-to-end customer experiences across a range of products and services, working within cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and the business. The role is contract, inside IR35, with an immediate start, a mid-range market rate dependent on experience, and a remote arrangement. The position is based in Birmingham, UK.
