Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £54,000 - 66,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who meets the following criteria:
• Proven experience in enterprise Wintel Server administration
• Strong knowledge of VMware technologies
• Hands-on experience building Nutanix environments
• Solid understanding and experience with NSX-T
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) environments (beneficial)
• Experience with SCCM, SolarWinds, and enterprise monitoring tools
• Understanding of Unix/Linux fundamentals
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Responsibilities

• As our Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
• Build, configure, and manage Wintel Server environments (Windows 7, 10, Server 2003, 2008R2, 2012, 2016, 2019)
• Deploy and support scalable Nutanix infrastructure solutions
• Manage and optimize VMware virtual environments
• Implement and maintain NSX-T network virtualization solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure systems using SolarWinds
• Perform diagnostics, event log analysis, and advanced troubleshooting
• Assist with cloud platform integrations and migrations (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Support and maintain enterprise systems using SCCM
• Leverage Unix/Linux fundamentals for cross-platform administration
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to support operational technology systems
