Salary: £24,000 - 24,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for candidates who possess a strong technical ability along with excellent communication and customer service skills. The essential qualifications include:
• HNC (or higher) in a computer-related subject.
• At least 2 years of experience in:
• - Networking and domain administration
• - Hardware/software installation & maintenance
• - IT communications
• - End-user support in a multi-user environment
• Knowledge of Windows client-server environments and application support.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driving licence or access to suitable transport.
• Desirable attributes include experience working within the public sector or local government.

Responsibilities

• As an IT Support Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring our IT services run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical support for applications, databases, and user accounts.
• Installing, maintaining, and supporting hardware and software.
• Conducting data analysis and contributing to system development.
• Collaborating with suppliers to test and implement new solutions.
• Helping to shape IT policies, procedures, and standards.
• Managing access controls and ensuring systems remain secure and available.
