Principal Technology Consultant

Salary: £42,000 - 72,500 per year

Requirements

• We require eligibility for SC Clearance, including 5 years of continuous UK residency.
• We need high-level IT architecture delivery experience.
• We need IT policy setting and advisory experience.
• We need a proven record of delivering RFPs and vendor selection.
• We need broad knowledge of workplace IT, managed services, and security.
• We need experience designing and executing AI strategies.
• We need a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• We will have you lead a full RFP for a global IT services provider.
• We will have you recommend an IT workplace stack based on our company and client needs across multiple geographies, including Google Workspace and M365.
• We will have you design our core IT environment, including management systems, IDAM, collaboration, and related capabilities.
• We will have you develop foundational IT policies covering Cyber Security, AI, Data Governance, and more.
• We will have you provide practical early-stage AI adoption advice.

We are a start-up providing fiscal hosting services to global companies operating in the not-for-profit and government sectors. Our model is currently very immature, and we need someone with a broad technology skillset to help us set up our core IT foundations. The role starts ASAP for an initial 6 months, is outside IR35, remote with occasional workshops in London, and we are seeking applicants who are interested in helping a tech-for-good organisation.
