Salary: £42,000 - 72,500 per year

Requirements

• We require a proven track record of shipping and maintaining live machine learning or AI software in commercial environments.
• We require advanced proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• We require hands-on engineering experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We require a strong understanding of core data engineering practices and automated pipeline design.
• We require practical experience with Generative AI techniques, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt optimization, and model fine-tuning.
• We require the ability to thrive in a high-velocity, output-oriented engineering culture.
• We prefer familiarity with MLOps practices, including CI/CD for models, version control, and drift monitoring.
• We prefer working knowledge of embeddings and vector storage solutions.
• We prefer experience developing microservices and back-end API architectures.
• We prefer prior experience in consulting or stakeholder-facing engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• We architect, train, and launch production-grade artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
• We own the end-to-end development cycle, from raw data ingestion through to model deployment and runtime optimisation.
• We adapt, fine-tune, and embed large language models directly into our operational workflows.
• We partner with infrastructure and data engineering teams to scale and productionise machine learning code.
• We construct resilient data pipelines and secure APIs to feed downstream AI services.
• We advise on high-level architecture across both machine learning stacks and cloud systems.
