Requirements
- We require proven project management experience delivering software implementations into the NHS or wider healthcare networks.
- We require strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- We require experience running structured governance, reporting, and documentation, including RAID logs, highlight reports, and project plans.
- We require a solid understanding of delivering data-focused projects, including data migration, data management, and data archiving.
- We require confidence managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a client-facing environment.
- We require excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- We require PRINCE2, MSP, or a similar project management qualification.
- We prefer experience delivering NHS EPR data management programmes.
- We prefer familiarity with clinical data environments and source systems such as EPR, PAS, and LIMS.
- We prefer hands-on exposure to Microsoft Project and structured RAID or risk governance.
- We prefer advanced SQL or T-SQL experience for understanding and triaging data issues.
- We prefer experience working for a specialist healthcare data or migration consultancy or vendor.
Responsibilities
- We will manage multiple projects across data migration and data archiving programmes, often involving EPRs and LIMS.
- We will build and maintain delivery plans, milestones, and project documentation, including RAID logs and highlight reporting.
- We will lead stakeholder management across NHS clients and third-party suppliers, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- We will track progress against scope, time, and budget, escalating risks and issues while maintaining RAG status reporting.
- We will produce and maintain project documentation aligned to PRINCE2, including project definitions, plans, and highlight reports.
- We will coordinate internal workstreams and ensure teams are clear on responsibilities, dependencies, and timelines.
- We will manage project risks and mitigation, ensuring appropriate governance and escalation where needed.
- We will support change control, including change requests and CCNs, to keep delivery and stakeholders aligned.
- We will oversee project closure activities, including lessons learned and completion of closure checklists.
- We will support workshops and training with clients and help triage complex delivery and data issues as they arise.
