Salary: £42,000 - 72,500 per year

Requirements

• We require active SC Clearance as a minimum.
• We require experience architecting and deploying production-grade, multi-agent AI systems and intelligent workflows.
• We require experience scaling autonomous AI solutions from validation through to live operational environments.
• We require experience integrating large language models and cognitive search pipelines into enterprise data platforms and distributed cloud infrastructure.
• We require strong knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC), identity federation, and policy engines.
• We require experience designing strict access control models, identity management solutions, and fine-grained policy frameworks for high-security environments.
• We require experience with distributed cloud infrastructure, enterprise data hubs, and scalable pipelines.
• We require strong system architecture, secure systems engineering, and stakeholder management skills.
• We require experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
• We require experience working in defence or similarly high-security environments.
• We require at least 5 years of experience in distributed cloud infrastructure.
• We require the ability to translate complex mission requirements into scalable architecture.
• We require strong understanding of enterprise LLM deployment, autonomous agent frameworks, and advanced information retrieval.

• We design and deploy secure, autonomous AI systems within large-scale cloud ecosystems.
• We architect and deliver production-grade multi-agent AI frameworks and intelligent workflows.
• We integrate large language models and cognitive search pipelines into enterprise-level data platforms and distributed cloud infrastructure.
• We formulate and implement access control models, identity management solutions, and fine-grained policy frameworks to meet strict security requirements.
• We lead cross-functional technical initiatives and act as the technical lead on mission-critical projects.
• We translate complex defence and mission requirements into scalable architecture.
• We mentor engineering teams on secure implementation practices.
• We support the progression of solutions from initial validation through to live operational deployment.
• We collaborate with stakeholders to shape secure, scalable, enterprise-ready AI solutions.

We are hiring a Lead AI Automation Architect on a contract basis for a defence-sector role. This is a remote position offering a rate of £600 outside IR35. We are looking for an experienced architect to lead the end-to-end design and deployment of secure, autonomous AI systems in large-scale cloud environments. The role operates in a high-security setting and requires active SC Clearance.
